Story
In April, Ben Kay is running the Brighton marathon in memory of his mother who spent time at a hospice and also for Hayley who was a dear friend who spent her last days at the hospice of St. Francis where she received the most amazing care. 24th April 2016Ben "Rhino" Kay completed the Brighton marathon in an amazing debut time of 5 hours!
Ben had some struggles with cramp that he hadn't had to deal with at all during training and even had to have a toilet break! but he soldiered on with the motivation that the pain he was experiencing was nothing compared with what his Mum & Hayley had gone through with their illnesses.
A truly outstanding achievement for Ben and an amazing show of respect to these beautiful women that meant so much to him xxx
